Many people will never have Mexico on their list of places to visit on a vacation. Part of the reason is in every movie about Mexico you will see an old bus that hardly can run with too many people and animals riding the bus. For someone who flies in to a city and depends on buses to go on tours or take a bus into the surrounding areas to visit the scenes with the old bus will make many tourists to pause and rethink their vacation places.
Times have changed
But Mexico does have a modern busing system which is a good value for renting for tours or to head to one of the coastal cities. Among standards these buses are very comfortable, well-spaced, with heavily padded seats. The boarding and booking process are both efficient, and luggage is kept secure. The coaches are air conditioned and area very nice way to travel.
Some things to remember
There’re some things you need to keep in your mind. Seats are assigned in order of purchase. But you can go and book in advance or get to your bus loading dock as early as possible. Many of these buses can be taken on an all-day tour of some of the interesting sightseeing places with stops for lunch or to walk some of the sightseeing spots.
This busing system is ADO Mexico and is a passenger bus service for Mexico – this bus service runs tours of downtown Mexico City. And interesting tours such as the all-day tour to the Pyramids in Teotihuacan which includes everything that you would expect a good touring company to have, for instants these tours include an all-day trip to the Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe which will include:
- Admission to the Pyramids
- Buffet lunch
- Visit to an Arts and Crafts workshop
- Traveller’s insurance
There are many other all day or 3 days tours that offer just as much. So, no one has an excuse for not visiting Mexico City and the areas of Mexico. And the rise in tourism has shown that the word is spreading about ADO Mexico.
